Hello everyone. I can't believe we've actually got some sunshine
at last. Thank goodness it decided to shine on the final day of the English Masters Beach Volley Ball competition. It
can't be much fun diving around onto cold wet sand if you're used to the warm, white beaches of the South of France
or maybe Brazil. Mind you it is the English Masters so these competitors are probably used
to a shower or two! It has certainly drawn some big crowds down onto the promenade today anyway,
which is great news for all of us in Blackpool. Lets hope there are many more of these and similar events in the near
future when the new head-lands are finished.
It's also the North West leg of the Tour Of Britain cycle race today
and it starts here on the promenade. Oh it's all going on in Blackpool
this weekend! You should be here!
